SO, I was at a Halloween party dressed as Popeye and my friend John told me he just got a fresh Bhut Jolokia pepper.   He had never tried one and asked if I would eat some with him.  What can you say to that?  So, he got the pepper out and we got a couple other people to try it with us too! 

The Ghost Pepper is the spiciest pepper in the world with a rating on the Scoville Heat Unit scale of over 1 Million SHUs.  This turned out to be an interesting twist to the Halloween party.  John did quite well eating the Ghost Pepper and so did Carrie and Debby.  Mike and Evan found the Ghost Pepper to be a little bit challenging.   The Ghost Pepper was quite spicy, I am rating the heat at an 8 out of 10 on the heat scale.
