This hot sauce had a mediocre taste with hints of habanero. I only noticed a small amount of heat from the habanero peppers. There was nothing that jumped out at me as unique about this sauce. I am rating this sauce a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Rippin Red’ Hot Wing Sauce is not your ordinary buffalo wing sauce.  Sure, the sauce still has that buffalo wing sauce flavor in the background, but this sauce has a very rich buttery parmesan cheese flavor in the front.  The flavor of this hot wing sauce is quite good and the sauce is lacking in heat.  Even in the hot version of the sauce, it was not very spicy.  If you can’t handle spicy sauce, this is a great choice for your wings.  I am rating the heat of the hot version of this wing sauce a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Mike:  Miss Anna Mellow Pepper Sauce has a quite thick texture and is yellow in color.  The two most noticeable flavors in this sauce are curry and mustard.  This sauce would be good on fish or chicken.  I added this hot sauce to a chicken stir fry and it tasted similar to a good Indian dish.  The heat is low, but noticeable.  I am rating this hot sauce a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Josh:  Miss Anna’s Mellow Pepper Sauce was a pretty good sauce.   It had a curry taste to it and of course mustard, since it is a mustard based sauce.  I do believe that this sauce would taste good on chicken or fish.  I am rating this sauce a 4 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Mike:  Golden Toad Jalapeno Hot Sauce is a green fairly thin hot sauce.  You can clearly taste jalapenos peppers in this hot sauce with a hint of citrus and garlic.  I would imagine that this hot sauce would be awesome on carne asada tacos.  The hot sauce has a good jalapeno flavor to it and not very much heat.  I am rating this sauce a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Josh:  I did not think that I would like Golden Toad Jalapeno Hot Sauce due to my past experience with a jalapeno pepper, but surprisingly I liked it.  A Jalapeno pepper is definitely hotter than this hot sauce in my opinion, but the flavor of this hot sauce is great.  It seems they have added a citrus flavor which definitely enhanced the taste over a plain jalapeno pepper.  This hot sauce did not taste very spicy, I am rating it a 4 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Mike: D.L. Jardine’s Blazin Saddle hot sauce was not very good on a chip. The flavor was quite sour and the sauce didn’t have much heat. I have tried this sauce with some other food items and it doesn’t taste as sour, but this still would not be a top choice for me. I also feel that the XXX HOT on the label seems a little exaggerated. I am rating this sauce a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Josh: Blazin Saddle had a very sour taste, I did not like the flavor at all. It had a little bit of heat to it, somewhat comparable to Tabasco sauce. I am rating the heat a 4 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Mike: Pyro-Mania Hot sauce has a good flavor if you are a fan of chipotle flavor sauces. This sauce was good on chips just like salsa. The sauce has a little bit of heat to it, although I did not think it was hot enough to be in the Tijuana Flats Death Pack labeled “Hottest Sauces in the World”. I am rating this sauce a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Josh: Pyro-Mania hot sauce had a little bit of heat to it, but I don’t think it is hot enough for the Tijuana Flats Death Pack. I am rating this sauce a 4 out of 10.

Mike: The Hooter’s 911 hot wings had good flavor. The wings were not hot at all though, considering these wings were supposed to be hotter than the normal hot wings. I am rating these wings a 3 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Josh: Going into this trial, I imagined that Hooters’ hottest wings would be almost unbearable for me. The wings definitely were not as hot as I had expected, although I did struggle a little bit to finish all five. The flavor of the wings was pretty good until we added the extra sauce. I am rating the wings a 4 out of 10 on the heat scale.

Mike: I haven’t had Tabasco sauce by itself in quite a while. I forgot that it does have a little bit of heat and it has a strong vinegar taste. The flavor is not the greatest by itself, but it is good with some foods, like chili. I rated Tabasco a 3 out of ten on the heat scale.

Josh: Tabasco sauce was very hot. Considering I have only tried a couple of hot sauces, this one was definitely the hottest so far. My tongue was completely numb for almost half an hour. I did not like the taste, atleast the part I did taste. I am rating Tabasco a 5 out of 10 on the heat scale.
